Sunroad Boat Show begins on Harbor Island
SAN DIEGO — The 2016 San Diego Sunroad Boat Show is scheduled to open Thursday, featuring in-water displays of more than 100 water craft.
The four-day event will showcase vessels of up to 90 feet long and the largest display of catamarans on the West Coast, according to organizers. Kayaks and inflatables will also be displayed.
Interactive seminars on topics like skills training and guides on boating in Mexico are also scheduled.
The show is set to open at noon today and Friday, and 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, at the Sunroad Marina on Harbor Island
Admission is $12, and children under 12 years old are free. Military, police and fire personnel, and emergency medical technicians are free today and Friday.
