Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Vista

VISTA, Calif. — Two pedestrians were struck by vehicles just a few miles apart Saturday night in Vista.

The first incident was reported at 6:28 p.m. in the 1900 block of W. Vista Way, according to San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim was transported to Palomar Medical Center.

A few minutes later, a second pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle around four miles away.

The accident was reported at 6:34 p.m. in the 900 block of E. Vista Way.

The person was also transported to Palomar Medical Center.
