NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana-based photographer, Hannah Hawkes Photography, is sparking outrage with her latest Christmas card photo shoot.

The mother and her two daughters are bound by Christmas lights and have their mouths taped shut with neon green duct tape. The father kneels behind them with a sign that reads "Peace on Earth."

The picture went viral with many feeling the photo is sexist and sending the message women should not speak.

But the family says it's just a joke.

"Take it for what it is," dad James Johnson said. "It's a family photo. If you like it, great. We love it. If not, scroll up. You're not going to even see it a half second later."
