SAN DIEGO – The bomb squad investigating a suspicious package in the freight area of Lindbergh Field Wednesday morning.
San Diego Fire-Rescue Metro Arson Strike Team went to San Diego International Airport at 2361 Air Lane at 9:30 a.m., according to SDFRD Captain Joe Amador. Two bomb-sniffing police dogs sat down near a suspicious package at the Southwest Airlines cargo area, Amador said.
The package was deemed safe by investigators and the scene was cleared.
Np flights affected and no roads were closed.
