I was there at the game and no coaches physically touched any of the refs. The refs were however making bad calls during the game. The unfortunate thing about this situation is how people are perceiving Kearny’s coaches and football players to be thugs. On the contrary this is totally false. It’s a slap in the face when people can make these comments off of pure emotion and there own individual prejudice. It’s unfortunate that the coaches and refs had there difference which finalized the game. But it’s even more unfortunate as a SanDiegan to see people in your community have such a negative bias towards a team of well behaved teens that simply were just playing football.
