Raoul Martinez: ‘I’m proud of my Cuban heritage’

I'm very proud of my Cuban heritage -- the history, the music, the people.

I'm also proud to be an American. That is what my parents wanted when we escaped Cuba, a place with no freedoms and no opportunities.

I didn't speak English when I arrived, and now I have the honor of bringing the news to San Diego. That's a responsibility I take very seriously.

Well said. I doubt Raoul would fly the Cuban flag at his house, unlike many America-hating refuse gets.

They leave their corrupt craphole countries for the safety and opportunities of the USA…then immediately proclaim their allegiance to the countries they just fled, proudly flying their flags.

They make me sick and deserve nothing from this fine country.
