SAN DIEGO – Two people were in jail Friday morning after Sheriff’s deputies discovered a marijuana-growing operation in their Lemon Grove home.

Sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant for the home at 2743 Buena Vista Avenue around 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Once inside, they found 39 marijuana plants and also discovered a medical marijuana dispensary being run out of the home, as well as a butane honey oil lab.

Both the Lemon Grove Fire Department and San Diego Fire Department HazMat team were at the scene. A small amount of cocaine was also found inside the home.

The San Diego Sheriff’s Department was still searching for at least one person in connection with the pot-growing operation.
