1 jailed, 1 on the loose after stabbing outside pub

SAN DIEGO - One man was in jail and another on the loose Friday morning after stabbing another man during a fight in downtown San Diego, police said.

The three men were leaving Maloney's Tavern just before 2 a.m. Friday when they got into an argument. One of the men stabbed a 24-year-old man in the stomach during the fight at 600 F Street.

The stabbing victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the suspects ran off after the stabbing. Police caught up to the other man and arrested him. No good description of the suspect on the loose was available.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
