Aerosmith to perform private show at Petco Park

SAN DIEGO – Aerosmith is set to perform a private show at Petco Park Wednesday evening, a warm up for their upcoming tour.

Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamiliton and Joey Kramer will take the stage on the Petco Park field for the invite-only event which starts at 7:30 p.m.

Royal Machines, the show’s opening act, is a band comprised of Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots, Chris Chaney of Jane’s Addiction, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, Josh Freese of Nine Inch Nails and Devo and actor Donovan Leitch.

The event is in accordance to the Cisco Live! Convention in downtown San Diego.

The four-time Grammy winners will be kick of their North American tour on June 13 in Glendale, Arizona.
