SAN DIEGO – A hit-and-run driver struck two vehicles Tuesday evening in Miramar before he was taken down by one of the victims and then arrested.

The suspect first hit a vehicle in the 8600 block of Miramar Road before striking another car at the corner of Camino Ruiz and Miramar Road.

The driver of the second vehicle, a City of San Diego employee who did not wish to be identified, said he followed the suspect to Activity Road where the suspect stopped his car and tried to run away to a nearby parking lot. After a short struggle, the city employee took down the suspect until police arrived to take him into custody.

The suspect, whose name has not yet been released, will face at least two charges of hit-and-run, according to police.

Neither of the drivers hit were injured.

    Good job!
Unfortunately, the hit and run driver will most likely be set free by obama’s amnesty agenda.

Boy, talk about showcasing your ignorance! The driver is white. What kind of amnesty do you think he will get? Were you born that stupid or did you have to work at it?

that was not the way it happened i was there he was an off duty police officer and he beat the heck out of this guy even once he had him down. Could not understand why he kept hitting him even once he had him. what is wrong with our police officers this sort of thing is happening way to often. If this guy needs a witness he’s got it.
