Pot grow discovered after Vista house fire

VISTA, Calif. – A pot-growing operation was discovered Wednesday night after firefighters put out a house fire in Vista.

The Vista Fire Department managed to put the fire out at the the home at 1439 Olive Avenue around 10:20 p.m.  Sheriff’s deputies were also at the scene and found a small pot-growing operation and equipment to produce honey oil with butane after searching the home.

No one was at the residence when firefighters arrive and deputies were still searching for the home’s occupant.

Investigators determined that a clothes dryer sparked fire.
