SAN DIEGO -- Authorities released surveillance camera images Tuesday in hopes of identifying three people believed to have ransacked a Linda Vista family's home last month, stealing about $30,000 worth of valuables while the victims were at a relative's funeral.

The photos of the three suspects -- two women and a man -- were taken as they bought items with a credit card stolen during the April 9 burglary in the 6900 block of Wheatley Street, according to police.

About 3 that afternoon, the residents returned from the memorial service to discover that an intruder had gotten into their home and stolen jewelry, electronics, textbooks and family heirlooms.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers 888-580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
