5 injured in Pacific Beach apartment fire

PACIFIC BEACH, Calif. — At least five people were injured Friday night in a fire at a Pacific Beach apartment complex.

The fire was reported at 8:40 p.m. in a two-story complex in the 4700 block of Lamont Street, said a dispatcher with the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

Some of those injured, including an infant, were taken to a hospital, according to the dispatcher.
