SAN DIEGO – Investigators were looking into the second suspicious truck fire in two days in City Heights.

Crews arrived at Euclid Elementary School just south of Orange Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday. They found the contents of the truck bed parked outside the school on fire and quickly put out the blaze.

A pentagram was drawn on the truck’s hood. The Metro Arson Strike Team was looking into the fire to determine if it was connected to several previous instances of arson in City Heights, including a similar instance that occurred just one day prior.

In that incident, firefighters also fought a blaze that started in the back of a truck in City Heights on the 5200 block of 52nd Place.

Anyone with information about any of the suspicious fires in City Heights is asked to call police.
