SPRING VALLEY, Calif. — A drive-by shooting near Bancroft County Park left a pedestrian wounded this afternoon.

The gunfire in the area of Bancroft and Kenwood drives in Spring Valley erupted shortly before 2:30 p.m., according to sheriff’s officials.

Medics took the unidentified victim to a hospital. His condition was not immediately available.

Deputies fanned out in search of the shooter and the involved vehicle.
