Light rain expected late Monday
SAN DIEGO — A low pressure system moving up from off the coast of Baja will bring widespread rainfall to San Diego County today, meteorologists said.
Light to moderate rainfall will occur mainly between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., according to the Fox 5 weathercaster Chrissy Russo. The system is not expected to bring much more than a tenth of a inch of rain to areas west of the mountains, Russo said.
Highs Monday are expected to be in the high 60s to low 70s in coastal areas and the western valleys, low to mid-60s near the foothills, in the 50s in the mountains and low 60s in the deserts.
