RICHMOND, Va. — A man in Virginia filed a $1.3 million lawsuit against the man from whom he sublet an apartment after the man discovered a hidden camera in the bedroom.

The man moved into the fully-furnished home he subleased from Tomas Arnaiz in 2012, WTVR reported. A clock radio was included in the home.

The clock radio,  the lawsuit alleged, contained a hidden camera with a memory card inside.

In his lawsuit, the tenant said he and his girlfriend discovered they were being secretly recorded in various stages of undress, while using the bathroom and during intimate moments.

The video and pictures were then allegedly downloaded to Arnaiz’s computer.

The couple discovered they were being filmed when they noticed the clock radio had been repositioned and plugged in after they unplugged it.
