3-vehicle crash blocks I-15 lane

SAN DIEGO — A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 in the Mira Mesa area Saturday left a lane temporarily blocked, but no one was seriously injured.

The crash was in the southbound lanes approaching Mira Mesa Boulevard.

It was reported shortly after 10:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

No one involved in the crash required hospitalization, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department dispatcher said.

The far left southbound lane was blocked for about a half hour following the crash, according to the CHP and Caltrans.
