Man flees after stabbing acquaintance in bathroom

SAN DIEGO — Police are searching for the suspect who stabbed a man Wednesday evening in Bay Ho, according to San Diego Police Department.

The incident occurred shortly before 7:15 p.m. on the 4000 block of Raffee Drive, police said.

During an altercation between two men who knew each other, the suspect confronted the victim, backed him into the bathroom, stabbed him to the right of the chest and fled the scene.

No arrests have been made. The suspect, a white man, was last seen driving a silver van.

The victim was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
