SAN DIEGO – Two dozen car owners in Pacific Beach woke up to find their vehicle was vandalized overnight, police said Monday.

San Diego police said 25 cars parked in the area of Lamont and Emerald streets were keyed. The damage appears to be random, but all within a couple block radius.

The first report of damage was made at 7:30 a.m. Monday. One car owner had three vehicles vandalized.

SDPD did not have a description of the vandal.

An investigation is underway.

I am sorry to hear that :( Throughout the years I have had cars license plates stolen, registration tags stolen off the plate, keyed, vandalized, car stolen and crashing them. Mostly where I live. It is a hard thing to deal with when life is stressful enough as it is. I just had someone do a hit an run to my new car and tried to deal with it but the other party’s insurance company backed out paying. Sad
