SAN DIEGO — A fight between three men in downtown San Diego Saturday left one slashed and the other two sought by police.

The fight was in the 1400 block of Third Avenue near Ash Street, and was reported shortly after noon, according to San Diego police Sgt. Ray Battrick.

At some point during the altercation, one of the suspects stabbed the victim in his back and arm, Battrick said. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police described the knife-wielding attacker as black and wearing a black shirt and black pants. He was carrying a backpack and had beads in his hair.

The second suspect was described as black and wearing a gray shirt and jeans. He was riding a bike.
