RadarSAN DIEGO – Thunderstorms were expected to roll through San Diego County Monday bringing rain and a chance for lightning.

Parts of the county experienced a sprinkling of precipitation Monday afternoon as the storm moved from southeast to northwest, over the Pacific Ocean.

Humidity levels spiked in the region, according to meteorologist Aloha Taylor, who added that the weather could stick around through Tuesday.
