Arrest made in Campo homicide

Sheriff's Tape LineCAMPO – Sheriff’s homicide detectives have arrested a man in connection with a deadly assault near the Campo Indian Reservation.

Patrick Pablo, was arrested at 6:30 a.m., and charged with one count of murder.

Teddy Pablo, 23, a resident of the reservation, was treated by paramedics but died at a house in the 36600 block of Highway 94 at 6:40 p.m., said Sheriff’s Homicide Detail Lt. Glenn Giannantonio said.

Patrick Pablo is the victim’s uncle and lived at the residence.

“When deputies arrived paramedics were performing CPR on a man outside a residence,” Giannantonio said.

 

“The victim had traumatic injuries. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead.” The Medical Examiner’s office was investigating the cause of Pablo’s death.

A motive for the killing is unknown.
