North Park ShootingSAN DIEGO — Police were on the lookout Tuesday for a gunman who wounded two men in a drive-by shooting in North Park.

The men were among a group of four walking northbound in the 3800 block of Villa Terrace near Wightman Street around 10 p.m. Monday when a red four- door Toyota stopped alongside them, said San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.

A backseat passenger opened fire, striking a 28-year-old man in a hand and a 24-year-old man in an ankle, Delimitros said. Both victims were taken to a hospital.

Police said the shooting was not believed to be gang-related.
