SAN DIEGO – Outdoor enthusiasts in Big Bear can experience a new physically challenging adventure while getting a view of something one might not otherwise see.

Action Tree Rope Climbing Tours offers a unique outdoor activity that gives people the opportunity to “scale trees like a monkey.”

Climber go through training with instructors to become comfortable enough to scale branches up to 45 feet off the ground. Climbers use repelling techniques to get back to the ground.

The fun out-of-the-box tours are designed for anyone 12 years and older and under 250 pounds who want to experience Big Bear’s pine forest from a different perspective.
