Pup waits 8 days outside hospital for sick owner

PASSO FUNDO, Brazil – A dog waited for eight days outside the hospital where his owner, who had unexpected surgery, was recovering.

According to Huffington Post, Lauri da Costa, who is homeless, was taken to the hospital after he was hit in the face. Doctors discovered he had melanoma which required surgery.

During his recovery process, his dog waited in the parking lot of hospital. Staff provided some food and water for the dog, the Huffington Post reported.

Costa was allowed to have visitors on the eighth day, so the hospital staff brought his dog inside for a reunion.
