Burglar nabs $3K of school supplies from high school

SAN DIEGO – School supplies were stolen from Crawford High School in an overnight burglary, police said.

burglarAbout $3,000 worth of supplies, including 30 dozen ink cartridges, were stolen from the City Heights school on Colts Way, school officials reported Wednesday morning.

Windows were broken and the burglar is suspected of entering the school through the roof, San Diego Unified School District spokesman Jack Brandis confirmed.

Authorities did not release any other details.
