Man stabbed near East Village

ambulanceSAN DIEGO – A transient man is suspected of stabbing another man in the arm in East Village over the weekend.

The 29-year-old victim was assaulted shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the vicinity of 10th Avenue and E Street, San Diego police officer David Stafford said.

The suspect fled the scene, according to the officer.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for the wound, which Stafford said was not life-threatening.
