Authorities seek suspect in 7-Eleven robbery

SAN DIEGO – An man used a simulated weapon to rob a 7-Eleven in North Park over the weekend, police said.

The suspect entered the convenience store at 3019 Meade Ave. just before 2 a.m. and demanded cash from the clerk, San Diego police Sgt. L. Taylor said.

7-Eleven Store CrimeAccording to Taylor, the suspect left the area in a green van with an undisclosed amount cash.

No one was injured.

Police described the robber as Hispanic man wearing a red and black baseball cap, a thick jacket, jeans and white shoes.
