Men rob woman at Lindbergh Field check-in

SAN DIEGO – A woman checking into her flight at San Diego International Airport was robbed by three men, police said.

Lindbergh-Field The woman was standing at the ticket counter of Alaska Airlines when three men stormed out of a car and forcibly robbed her, according to San Diego Harbor police.

They drove away with the victim’s purse, authorities said. She was uninjured in the robbery.

Airport workers were baffled by the brazen purse snatchers.

“I live in downtown and I expect it there, but there are dozens of police officers everywhere around here. I can’t believe it,” said Chelsea Collins an Airport employee. “I’m sure with all the cameras around here the police will have good pictures of these guys.”

The Harbor Police Department and Alaska Airlines are investigating the incident.
