SAN DIEGO — San Diego police were on the lookout Thursday for a gunman in his 20s who carjacked a man in the Loma Portal neighborhood.
An 18-year-old man told officers he was sitting in his Honda CRV when the gunman approached on foot, pointed a weapon at the victim and demanded the vehicle, Delimitros said in a statement.
The victim complied and the gunman drove off in the Honda northbound on Rosecrans Street.
Police described the gunman as Hispanic, in his 20s and about 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He wore a black bandana, black hoodie and blue jeans, Delimitros said.
