WEB-Car-CrashSAN DIEGO – The Medical Examiner’s Office publicly named the woman who was struck and killed while crossing Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.

Sarah Ann Hudson, 25, of San Diego was walking southbound across the eastbound lanes near Doliva Drive about 10:40 p.m., Friday.

According to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office and San Diego police, a 38-year-old man was driving eastbound in a Ford Escape.

Witnesses to the crash called for help, but paramedics pronounced Hudson dead at the scene, authorities said.

According to San Diego Police Officer David Stafford, the motorist was not cited or arrested.
