Man with knife robs Lemon Grove Subway

knife-webLEMON GROVE — Authorities were on the lookout Tuesday for a man who robbed a Subway restaurant in Lemon Grove with a black bandana with a white skull covering his face.

The robbery at 6971 Broadway happened at about 11 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego County Sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Cook. The robber was armed with a knife and used a demand note to get cash from the business, Cook said in a statement, adding that no customers were there at the time

Cook described the robber as Hispanic, about 20, last seen wearing a tan zip-up hoodie and black bandana with a white skull over his face.
