Police investigate baby’s death

Rady’s-at-nightSAN DIEGO – Homicide investigators were at Rady Children’s Hospital Thursday evening following the death of a baby boy, officials said.

San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to a report of a boy who fell off a bed at an apartment on the 2300 block of Euclid Avenue around 3 p.m., SDFRD spokesman Maurice Luque said.

The baby was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital where he later died, according to Luque.

Homicide detectives arrived at the hospital around 7 p.m. and were questioning the baby’s parents.

Officials did not release the identity of the boy.

No other details were released.
