Matthew Paul Corner, 34, allegedly opened fire on his brother, Michael, with a pistol at their home in the 6800 block of Fashion Hills Boulevard about 5:30 a.m., according to San Diego police.

Neighbors told Fox 5 News that six or seven police cars arrived a short time later and officers armed with shotguns began knocking on doors on the street.

“(The brothers) were arguing throughout most of the night,” SDPD Sgt. Robin Rose said in a statement.
