SAN DIEGO – The NFL and San Diego Chargers announced Thursday a policy that limits the size and type of bags fans are allowed to be brought into the stadium.

nflThe league said the new policy is to provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into all NFL stadiums.

Items banned from stadiums include purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, seat cushions, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

The following style and size bag, package or container standards will be allowed:

  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.
  • An exception will be made for medically-necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

Great, now there will be more blacked out games because no one will want to go! A lot of perople bring small blankets jackets and so on that they would keep in a larger tote bag or purse.

More POLICE STATE bu l l s h i t! Bad enough with those yellow-jacketed retard/goon/jarhead/fucks treating patrons like criminals….Going to any "public" event is just like going to North Korea nowadays. The NFL, its cops and its turnip-brain millionaire thugathletes can ALL eat shi t and DIE!!!

So what about diaper bags for parents? Are we to limit the amount of diapers, wipes, whatever to a one gallon clear bag? Hope anyone bringing a kid doesn’t need more than 1 diaper and a wipe and doesn’t plan on feeding the kid either.

Wow, that's a silly rule to be honest. I'm on the side of the parents, diabetics, cyclists, anybody that actually may need to bring something to the game. I ride my bike to Petco for games and would do the same for Chargers games but I put my helmet in a back pack… Gloves, extra shirt… Back pack. Booo! Go Padres!
