2 men gunned down in City Heights

city heights shootingSAN DIEGO — Gunmen shot and wounded two men  in a City Heights alley Thursday afternoon, police said.

Shots were fired at about 2:45 p.m. off the 4000 block of 39th Street, near University Avenue, according to San Diego police. Parmedics took the victims to a hospital for treatment.  The condition of the victims was not released.

Witnesses told officers two men sped off from the scene of the shooting to the north in a dark-blue pickup truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma two-door with an extended cab, police Lt. Kevin Mayer said.

The gunmen  were described as slim men with short hair wearing dark-colored shirts and blue jeans.

    cheeze side going to war?? what a joke! first they should clean up their own hood from rival gang members and then they should clean up their own gang from snitchez and drive by busters. Cheezers get shot all the time, rarely do they came back and do anything about it.
