Man robs pharmacy with demand note

WEB Save On Drugs copySAN DIEGO — Detectives Wednesday were working to identify a man who robbed a Torrey Highlands pharmacy of narcotics.

The robbery at the Sav-On pharmacy at 7895 Highlands Village Place was reported at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros.  

A roughly 5 feet 8 Hispanic man in his 30s with a stocky build and a light complexion approached the pharmacy counter and said he had a weapon, he
said in a statement.

He then handed over a demand note and left with an undisclosed amount of narcotics, Delimitros said.
