The $850,000 is only $1500 in 2018 dollars after the end of prohibition in 2016.

In years to come, the attitudes that now prevail towards people that choose cannabis will be as politically incorrect as racism, homophobia or denying women the vote.

you obviously dont get how the government works….weed will never be legalized completely. There is too much money to be made off of it. Why would they take away a steady stream of profit for themselves. I mean take CA for example…you would think its about as legal as it can get here, but in Arizona personal use is 4.4 pounds. In CA you pay a licsense fee to the state and a doctor, then you pay the medical club which is taxed by the state and feds…Whereas arizona before passing the law didnt have to do anything. You could just have 4.4 pounds without getting prosecuted. You didnt need to pay the state or government anyting. Its the same as gay rights…just shut up and smoke some weeed with that sausage becuase all talking about it is going to do is F you Over.

Think again. The price will actually go UP. Once it's legal think of all the regulations and laws growers will have to comply with that cartels and smugglers don't . . . EPA standards, FDA, worker's comp, Social Security, minimum wages, taxes, . . . you will pay much more.
