SAN DIEGO — A San Diego man was behind bars Thursday on suspicion of fatally stabbing his estranged wife in a parking lot at a South Bay sheriff’s substation.
Shortly after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Marvin Dennis Duncan, 59, pressed an intercom button at a side door at the precinct house on Imperial Beach Boulevard, according to sheriff’s homicide Lt. Glenn Giannantonio.
When a deputy answered, Duncan, who was holding two toddlers, allegedly announced that he had just killed his 36-year-old wife, Rocio.
The mortally wounded victim was found lying on the ground on the west side of the substation, the lieutenant said. She died a short time later.
Duncan was detained for questioning and later arrested. The children, who were unharmed, were taken into protective custody.
The motive was under investigation.
Duncan was being held at San Diego Central Jail without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Friday afternoon.

This the honest murder who has remorse but telling police what he did.
I still wouldn't bail him out of jail even if he had the money.
Did he actually kill her in the parking lot? No security cameras?

Steve I knew this man for 12 years hes a great f****** guy. he loves his kids very very much. He was very remorseful which is why he turned himself in. His wife egged this s*** on for over a year im not saying that because of it, that it makes it justifiable no not at all ! these woman in TJ marry american citizens and than rape the system , she worked it to her advantage and made numerous threats to him about hiding in tj and him never seeing his kids. we all have a threshold , some of us will never ever meet that tolerance threshold, how far is one willing to go once they reach that peaK is the question. If I trusted any man alone with my children it was this guy. loving caring, and a zero threat to society. military vet and a shipyard worker for over 30 years what a shame.

This is a fellow worker at the shipyard known him for 15 years. Know one thought he would be capable of such a thing. Having gone through a bitter divorce myself and being helpless against the system that takes your money and doesn't let you see your kids. Not excusing his actions but everybody has a breaking point.
