Jonathon Tenorio was found dead around 6:20 a.m. Sunday at a complex in the 700 block of Camino de la Reina near Camino del Arroyo, investigators said.
Tenorio, who was originally from Guam, recently married Thomas Jefferson School of Law student Christine Santos. He graduated from the US Naval Academy in Maryland and was recently stationed on the USS Bunker Hill in San Diego, according to the Navy. He was a designated surface warfare officer.
The victim’s roommate awoke and discovered blood inside the apartment leading to the body, according to San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbert.
Herbert said the preliminary investigation indicated the victim may have been stabbed, but the actual cause of his death had yet to be determined.
San Diego police confirmed that an arrest had been made in the case, but did not release any details.
“It’s really sad,” said neighbor Dr. Marivic Cruz. “I’ve never heard of anything like this before.”
Police have arrested a suspect in this case but have not released any details about a possible motive.
The Navy said they’re deeply saddened by the loss and cooperating with homicide investigators.

Well I didnt knew him, but I feel sorry when things like this happens. He was young, full of life, inteligent and an officer. All I can say is my sincere condolence and prayer for the family and wife. May God help you in this terrible moment
And for the person who did this, I want to let them know. That theres no place to escape. The worst enemy you can have is your mind and your heart. If you want to live in peace, confess your self and give up, its not easy, but even do the consecuences yuor going to be in, If you really feel sorry for what you did, God will help you, while you learn the lesson. Dont hide, it will be worst. for you. Know is time to to give your self a chance, instead of running away. Think about, tomorrow is late.

There is no God so save your prayers and stop talking to yourself! It was his brother who killed him. Must have been God's plan? LMAO
