Teen stabbed at La Jolla house party

sdpdSAN DIEGO – A teenager was stabbed twice in the back by at least one person in a group of crashers who tried to force their way into a house party in the La Jolla, a police officer said.

“About 1 a.m., a small group of people tried to force their way into a house party in the 500 block of Fernglen Road, attended by 30 to 35 high school students,” San Diego police officer David Stafford, said.

They were told to leave by people hosting the party and a fight began. The stabbing victim later showed up at Scripps La Jolla Hospital.

The suspect was described as a 17 to 20 year old thin 5-foot, 8-inch tall Asian man and was last seen wearing a gray hat.

The teenager is expected to survive, Stafford said.
