Sketches of Rancho Sante Fe armed robbers released

Rancho Sante Fe Home Robbery Suspects - SketchesSAN DIEGO – Detectives Wednesday released sketches of two men involved in a home invasion robbery in Rancho Santa Fe.

The two men held a housekeeper at gunpoint during a robbery in the 5000 block of El Mirlo on Thursday, December 20, according to Detective Karen Stone of the Encinitas sheriff’s station.

One suspect was described as a 5 foot, 7 inches tall white man in his late 20s, early 30s weighing 150 pounds. He has a long, narrow face, thin nose, gaunt face, tan complexion and shoulder length straight blond hair.

The second suspect was a white man in his 20s to early 30s, about 6-feet tall, 180 pounds with a tan complexion and black and gray short wavy to curly hair. He allegedly pointed a black gun at the housekeeper, Stone said.

The suspects drove a blue Hyundai Elantra which was recovered by deputies at a later time, the detective said.

The housekeeper was uninjured.
