SDSU student robbed at gunpoint

SDSU CrimeSAN DIEGO — Three young men robbed a female student at gunpoint near San Diego State University, police said.

The men robbed the woman just east of campus in the 5200 block of East Falls View Drive about 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to SDSU police. They took her backpack, cell phone and wallet, but left her unharmed, according to a police statement.

University police said the three robbers were between 20 and 25 and were last seen fleeing in a vehicle.
